gorilla trekking and Akagera National Park safari in Rwanda is an exciting and unforgettable experience for nature lovers and adventure seekers.

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Kigali for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Volcanoes National Park, where you will trek to see the rare mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the park. Overnight stay in bisate lodge.

 

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

Early in the morning, you will set out for gorilla trekking. You will be assigned to a gorilla family and accompanied by a park ranger who will guide you through the forest to find the gorillas. The trek can take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Once you find them, you will spend an hour observing and taking pictures of them. Return to the lodge for lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure where you will visit ibyiwacu and learn more about Rwanda culture.. Overnight stay in bisate lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Akagera National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Akagera National Park, a wildlife reserve that’s home to a variety of animals such as elephants, lions, buffalos, and giraffes. In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive and spot some of the wildlife in the park. Overnight stay in one and only lodge.

Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Safari

In the morning, you will go on a game drive to see more of the wildlife in the park. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat safari on Lake Ihema, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. Overnight stay in camp tent.

 

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast, you will be driven back to Kigali for your departure flight.
